Growing Up

Salad Days

I loved my school! It was a cross between Malory Towers and St Trinians. It has shaped the person I am today. This was written in the fifth form when everything was changing. In essence it is a poem about growing up.

Mrs Cluttercloud's Class

Oh how well I remember the  anxiety of moving up a year at school. Everything seemed so much bigger and more complicated! This is a light-hearted look at what for young children is a very real fear.

Why?

Written when I was fourteen this is the first real poem I ever wrote. As children we all ask 'why?' Some of us grow out of it, the rest of us keep on questioning.
